ES is a suburban of some sort on the Emergency Side Maybe a Supervisor

New CAT Teams for the PFD went into effect Today. 7/2/2018
What are CAT Teams you may be asking?
They are Community Action Teams and are basically taking over and enhancing the functions and capabilities of PN-10.
It will consist of a Firefighter and an Officer and it’s responsibilities could be vast. They will fall under Fire Prevention, Fire Code, and the Fire Marshall’s Office.
They will work with Red Cross, OEM, and other agencies to coordinate things in a better way for the people the Fire Department Serves. They will be available 24 hours a day and will respond on All-Hand Boxes, some Rescue assignments and when Special Called upon by the Incident Commander.
They will also continue to assist the residents on the scene as the Incident is ongoing with personal effects and items. Hand out Prevention material as well still be involved in the Smoke Detector program. They will also be able to perform Fire Code checks and assist the Fire Marshal when needed.
There will be 3 CAT teams:
CAT-1 will be located and respond out of the FAB.
CAT-2 will be located and respond out of FMO on Island Ave.
CAT-3 will be located and respond out of Engine 63s.
Always Remember if any City Resident is in need of a smoke detectors, please dial 311..
