It depends on the situation and what they need to handle it. If rescues are needed they operate as a truck company but normally because only a light force was dispatched it's a minor fire and they operate as a engine company.

In this particular case, the Light Force was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire, then when they were in route the incident was upgraded to a structure so the light force arrived first.
