What sense does that make? I'm guessing they don't trust it enough to send it out by itself!

If the purpose of this equipment is to rescue all the sane people at Harvard, I would note that it is entirely too large.

I believe since it's an unstaffed unit, the on duty engine crew will bring it if needed. Cambridge does not staff Haz-Mat 1.

It is the first due haz mat at Harvard University- so I imagine it carries quite a bit of bullshit detection equipment!
