"Ensure your safety. District Fire engine 20 was struck while defending two lanes for a MVC on I4 at 3 a.m. engine 20 was hit twice within 20 minutes. Initially, a car collided with the front bumper, causing damage to the Federal equipment. Twenty minutes later, a vehicle sideswiped the entire engine 20, despite the presence of cones and lights. The truck performed its function, protecting against further impact. Fortunately, no one was inside the truck and sustained injuries."
