Incident Location: 947 Kings Parkway
On the night of Monday, September 2nd, 2024, the Baldwin Fire Department was called to a house fire on Kings Parkway off Glenmore Street. Those first to arrive on scene were met with a propane fueled fire in the rear yard extending to a detached garage. Moments later a signal ten [working fire] was transmitted and mutual aid requested. Firefighters put two hand lines into operation off Baldwin Engine 203 and were able to keep the fire from extending into any of the nearby residences. Nassau County Hazmat was requested to the scene to secure multiple propane tanks. There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of Baldwin Chief of Department Hopkins [205]. (Text Credit K2M)
