erodpsSntoh1aii9f0c119i9t7ati10h4l9ta6u709h1l8a3lc64550fif94 ·At 4:38 pm, East Haven Public Safety was alerted to a smoke condition coming from a residence on South Street in the Morgan Point section of town. First arriving members arrived on scene and found a fire condition in the basement of a single family residence. Companies maneuvered through collyer conditions in the basement and were able to extinguish the fire before it extended to the rest of the house. The fire is currently under investigation by the East Haven Fire Marshals Office. We would like to thank @branford_firefighters_l2533 for their assistance through our automatic aid policy, the North Branford Fire Department for station coverage, and volunteer companies for their support on scene.
