E274 normally second due here - in the 50’s and early 60’s there was an MPO for E274 by the name of Chester Bensel who used to pride himself on beating E320 to some of their close first due boxes and did more times than not. He would get to the rig and yell let’s go “gotta beat 320”. Good natured fun which I enjoyed as a kid.

Let's not forget that back then, the "MPO" had to double-clutch that manual transmission and no power brakes or p/.steering either. They earned their muscles!
