2 Palm Beach County Sheriff Deputies killed today 11/21/24

2 palm beach county sheriff deputies were killed and a third critically injured around 9:15 this morning while conducting traffic radar operations. Reportedly a car left the roadway at a high speed and struck the three stationary motorcycle officers. May they rest in peace and May God watch over their families

Reported as a Traffic Stop on the 18000 Block of Southern Blvd. Prayers for the third Deputy, this was bad.

Only going over Niagra Falls in a wooden barrel is more dangerous than operating adjacent to a moving lane of traffic.

According to ODMP, first deputy had wrapped up a stop but his motor wouldn’t start. 2nd and 3rd stopped to assist him. Driver apparently went to pass another vehicle and over corrected. 4th deputy that was pulling up with jumper cables witnessed.
