I’m curious as to what the 10-60 process is, and I hope someone here can answer that for me.
From what I’ve seen in other threads, dispatchers aren’t allowed to transmit the 10-60, but they can load up the box. If a collapse call was received in Manhattan, theoretically below 125th, would the dispatcher load the box or make it a collapse matrix, then the first-due unit makes the call for a 10-60?
I know I must be spouting nonsense, but I want to double-check my limited understanding by providing a scenario and using what I know, then being corrected later.
