Oceanside (Nassau) Working Fire - 3746 Careel Ave

At 1:26 pm the Long Beach Fire Department was alerted for a Mutual Aid to the Oceanside NY Fire Department for a Working House Fire at 3746 Corral Blvd.
Engine 2344, Ladder 2362, and Ambulance 2321 responded with Chief Ray and are still operating.

On the afternoon of Friday, January 10th, 2025, the Oceanside Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Carrel Boulevard off Dot Court East. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with fire showing from the one, two corner on the first floor of a two-story private dwelling. A signal ten [working fire] was transmitted and mutual aid requested. Firefighters put two hand lines into operation and had the main body of fire quickly extinguished. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation and there were no reported injuries. Oceanside Chief of Department Costigan [241] had command of the incident (Text Credit K2M).
