Missing man found dead in burned out home after devastating fire in Island Park

Firefighters recovered the body of a man, who was originally unaccounted for, from the burned out home.

Island Park FD is only 4 min. away. Long Beach may have actually been closer and could have arrived first if they would have received the initial call. Hard to believe the photos of that home - gives new meaning to "fully involved!" Have to wonder how long it was burning before the initial phone call was made. That looks like maybe a 15 minute burn in wind conditions.;

Assuming that the bridge is down. Google maps says the fastest is 9 minutes (from the Chester St. fire house, where the paid ffs are).
