This is City Island Avenue and Beach Street sometime in the late 50's the raised aerial the center of the photo is 53 truck with their ladder pipe. I don't know who the other companies are in the photo.

The truck to the right could be 32 Truck with their '53 FWD ? Chiefs rigs look like '62's.

L51 had a 1955 FWD wooden aerial ladder rig also, so it's probably that company instead of L32. In those days L's 50, 47, and 51 out to City Island before 32, which would have made them a fourth or fifth alarm truck. But you are correct, it could have been 32.
