R4 involved in a serious MVA while responding to a Loaded Box at 150-12 109 ave reporting fire in a church. Box was a 10-18 for a 10-22

The truck was making a turn onto Juniper Boulevard alongside Juniper Valley Park at 4 p.m. when the fatal accident occurred.

My sincere sadness goes out to the childs family that passed away in this horrible accident. I also sent my prays to the chauffeur of Rescue 4.

lf the news article above is correct, the bike hit the side of R4, so not the R4 drivers fault at all.

Another Middle Village alumni here. I couldn’t count how many times I rode my bike around Juniper as a kid and an adult.

My heart goes out to the victim and his family as well as the entire crew of Rescue 4.
