*10-46 Cod 4 Divers entering the water

-If a Marine unit is put to work at a land based incident. The nearest available Satellite Unit with their associated Engine Company is to be special called

-If only 1 Marine company is able to be in service to due incident(s) Marine 6 is to be covered.

Reserved Marine Companies
-Marine 2, 5, & 7 are the Reserved Marine Units. They may be staffed at anytime as they are fully equip and ready to go.
-They may be put into service anytime a Marine Unit(s) are seriously unavailable.
-Maritime Support Units
*Marine Scuba Unit (MS01) is a 33 Foot Safe boat. The bow can drop down to help with loading & unloading or gear & personnel during beach operations.
*Marine Tactical Unit (MT01) is a 4WD Vehicle similar to a Tactical Support Unit. They concentrate on marine specific incidents & emergencies.
Items such as: Hose appliances & connections, piercing nozzles, couplings, & nozzles. They also carry adaptors for surrounding departments in NJ & Long Island, as well as International Shore Connections. Airbags, Torches & Lights. Partner/Chain saw, Holmatro Rescue Tools, & Battery operated tools. Generator & tools used for underwater operations. Zodiac inflatable boat. Dewatering Operations. A tent

-Year Round Marine Company Tiered Response

The primary Marine Units are Marine 1, 6 & 9 are now equipped to respond with either their respected Marine Unit and/or a Rapid Response Fire Boat as a "Tiered Response" to facilitate rescue operations.
The closest primary Marine Company and/or Rapid Response Fire Boat will respond to the incident. If the incident requires 2 Marine Units the 2nd closest will be assigned.

Marine Companies 1, 6, & 9 also have "Alpha" & "Bravo" boats.

-Seasonal Boat Program (Rapid Response Craft)
* The Seasonal Boat Program uses 33 foot shallow draft crafts that can respond at speeds greater than 45 mph & can pump water at 1,000 GPMs.
* Seasonal Boat Program Operates from May 1st to November 1st (Specific dates are determined by Marine Operations) daily from 0700 X 2400

-Seasonal Boat Program Responses
* Anytime a Seasonal Boat is assigned to an incident, the closest year-round Marine Unit shall also be assigned along with the Marine Battalion.
* Land support shall not be assigned for Marine 3, 4, & 8 unless specifically requested by the Marine Battalion.
