Church fires are very dangerous, among other dangers the "Bell Tower" even now often contains a Church bell weighing hundreds to over 1,000 pounds, if the towers strength is reduced by the effects of the fire that very heavy bell and the bell tower itself can fall from a significant height killing or injuring firefighters, and also possibly resulting in the collapse of wall or walls of the church itself.
