    Loading up the box

To answer the original question, no, FireCAD doesn't print anything about "Loading up the box". MDTs in the rigs still look the same. Screens for the dispatchers are much different than the StarFire years (and arguably nicer) but no "load box" button or text other than the T-30 on the SEP...

    FDNY OLD BASIC TRAINING VIDEO

I have a whole bunch of these wonderful gems on VHS somewhere. The radio traffic recreation was terrific - at 5:37, he actually says "boooooop" as the alert tone. Thanks for posting!

    Maxi Water Unit

Interesting how the prefix "Maxi" seemingly creeped its way into FD vernacular via Mack trucks. MaxiBrake, MaxiTorque, etc.

    9/29/21 Bronx 2nd Alarm Box 3538

So, I grew up in that building, and my parents still live there. We've always considered it a 5-story, not a 6 story, since 6 story buildings generally have an elevator. There are 3 "walk-in" apartments on the street level - 1E, 2E, and 3E. Entering the courtyard from the exposure 1 side, the A...

    Favorite dispatchers

Fast Freddy! I haven't thought of ERS Troublehunters in years. I remember Tony, the marble-mouthed Com Truck 910 to the Bronx, K in the 90's. Good memories.
