Across Saratoga and few doors down from Jackie Gleasons birthplace of 364 Chauncey. And the Kramdens lived at 328 Chauncey but called it Bensonhurst.

Seems like 109 or 122 should go before 149.

Looking at map would seen 123 out of old FH at Ralph & Bergen would be slightly closer than 170 to this box. But both seem closer than 120. Far runs for all trucks back then. Hence putting 174 in service

That building stood vacant for some time. Surprised it made it through the arson waves back in day

Cool article. As far as CIDS, on the Water Street side it looks like 5 stories even though top of lower windows can be seen. Has small set of steps to enter building. The grade slopes to rear at FDR side where full 6 stories are observed.

Sure companies turn out for relocations now-you're getting sent to the job if additional units are needed. And then you go back to your own quarters after operating.

    1/14/24 Brooklyn 2nd Alarm Box 1290

With the current policy of sending relocators into job companies are asking to be relocated. No accident that 111 is always relocating. They’re asking to be. Most likely have friendly dispatchers making it happen for them.

2023 FDNY First Due & A/H Statistics *Unofficial*

Some areas in city the companies are very close together. Especially most of Manhattan and the Bronx. Crazy when you’re about a mile from a company and run in with them on many boxes but you may be fourth due engine or possibly on the 2nd alarm to their quarters or block or 2 past them

1/5/24 Brooklyn *ALL HANDS* Box 3487

Worst computer dispatch system ever. Sometimes no run at all. Sometimes no tones. Sometimes tones no ticket or run on screen But I’m sure some people made a boatload of cash setting it up

    1-1-24....QNS 5 KILLED IN COLLISION.

Very hard to judge by the videos but The vehicle on roof looks to have both front and rear wheels off the car. So I’m guessing significant damage to that side of vehicle possibly doors ripped off that side too. If vehicle occupants were un restrained certainly getting thrown around or ejected...
