Update from Mass fire buffs FB post: 5 firefighters transported to hospital. Hoarding conditions made interior ops difficult and fueled the fire. Sixth alarm transmitted, fire appears to be knocked down.

Lowell has a fifth alarm in a 3 story multi family building with heavy fire. RIT activated for companies on the third floor.

But hey, they saved everything below the water line! LOL!

That one boat was a devil of a time to extinguish, even with three streams being used.

In addition there is a strong possibility for a remake of "Backdraft". This would be a complete re-make and not a continuation of the story. Evidentally the star of "Twister" And "Top Gun Maverick", Glen Powell is being considered for the top role. Tom Cruise also is strongly interested in this...

Chicago transmitted a 2-11 alarm @ 0548 for a fire @ 1435 W Fletcher by orders of Battalion 12. Fire in a 2.5story wood frame with exposure problems. Info from FB Tri-State Fire Alerts.

First due are Engine 26 and Truck 7, shot from the mid 80's.

Boston transmitted Box 5396 for a fire at 7 Tip Top street in the Brighton section of the city. Fire was in a large 2.5 multi-family building, a second alarm was transmitted. Info from Boston Sparks FB page.

Chicago had a 2-11 fire this morning at 4728 S Ashland in what I believe was a block of stores.

I understand that the apparatus makers are still making new units but if they have the parts for new apparatus shouldn't they also take care of department's older stuff? Oh wait, the older stuff is already paid for.

Chelsea had a 6 alarm fire at 185 Washington Street in a 4 story OMD. Fire on floor 4, which was evacuated with fire dropping down to floor 3. Info from FB North Shore fire and apparatus.
