The favorite shop for good Italian heros was Lucy's Deli on 2nd Avenue between 29 and 30 streets. That was a go to back in the days of 16 on 25th and 7 on 28th streets.

As a kid I recall my dad telling me about driving the Ahrens-Fox that 16 had and having to crane his neck to see around the vacuum ball on the front of the rig. What made it more interesting was the el pillars on the avenues.

Today we remember all those who have made the Supreme Sacrifice, all who still suffer from illness and injuries from that day and later on. We remember and thank to this day the medical institutions and personnel who have, and still are, there for us. God Bless everyone one aforementioned here...
