    US ARMY 250th BIRTHDAY

Or . . . all of the vehicles were from the 1st Cav, but unit IDs were changed for the parade . . . That would save a bundle; shipping most vehicles from one or two locations rather than many.

    US ARMY 250th BIRTHDAY

Why would vehicles supposedly assigned to the 1st Armored, 3d ACR, 10th & 11th Divisions, etc., be operated by soldiers from the 1st Cav?

    US ARMY 250th BIRTHDAY

Did anyone else notice, in yesterday's big parade, that almost all tracked vehicles (Pattons, Bradleys, Strykers, Self-propelled howitzers, etc.) were crewed by the 1st Cav, no matter what unit they were supposedly from? Seems that some fuzzy doings caused that . . . or were they all from the...

Yet another major semi-truck crash in Downtown Louisville 6/13/25

It's been a few years since I was through Louisville, but I remember it being really snotty trying to get through on I-64. The intersection with I-65 was the worst . . . and ALWAYS busy.

    May/June FAJ

I contacted the new people (Vintage Media; apparently John Calderone has sold FAJ), and they told me that the May/June issue was just mailed this past week due to "technical issues". I hope it's not an example of what's to come. But I want to thank Chief Calderone for all of the issues and...

    Fire Apparatus Journal

Is anyone else out there missing the May-June 2025 issue of FAJ, or am I the only one who is still sitting and waiting for it? It's about a month overdue based on prior experience. Seems John Calderone has sold it to an outfit that publishes "vintage" stuff, and the web site is totally new. The...
