    Box 2638 trivia: 33-2638, 11/6/73 for a lumberyard on 5th Av, 63-64 streets. The day of the strike & had just ended shortly before box came in.

    168 was originally assigned as the extra truck, but 148 told dispatcher they were on Ft. Parkway, possibly from a previous box in the 50’s & was assigned & 168, told to go 10-8. 40 was up from same box because they requested a size up from 241.

    Met Tom when I did a vacation or two in 108, a real nice guy/gentleman & we had a mutual acquaintance. My old Lieut in 114 was Dan Marshall, who became the Capt. of 43 truck & Tom was his Lt. Marshall was also a firefighter in 108 before getting promoted to Lt. Rest In Peace, Tom.🙏
