It definitely helps, guys see it at the kitchen table right away and makes for a great quick drill. I think this started with Chief Leeb but whoever it was is owed a thanks. Its perfect for the young guys too who may have operated at fires in the training memos but later on in the job, etc.

    1/15/25 Bronx 4th Alarm Box 3740

There were companies closer than 38 that were AQ or 10-8. But the box assignments done decades ago, and then BARB, didnt fix most of those issues. It happens every day, and its incredibly frustrating lol

    1/15/25 Bronx 4th Alarm Box 3740

A hundred years of wrong box assignments never fixed by BARB.

12/21/2024 Manhattan All Hands Box 1744

Yet another silly box where the response order makes no sense because of a bridge.

    12/17/24 Manhattan All Hands 10-77 Box 0795

That was always my kind of thinking, especially if we got sent on a seg 3 type run that ended up being a seg 1. Considering when we tell Our dispatchers of a need for ems or updated conditions, they ask the condition of the patient for ems. If all runs were treated the same, that question...

Yes. Seen it in the dispatch notes.

12/11/24 Bronx All Hands Box 4769

Lots of companies out on runs or otherwise unavailable, and its a weird spot where a lot of 1st and 2nd due areas meet. Can go from 1st to 6th due in a block.
