    I would love to see the next time the ‘media’ interviews a Firefighter after a rescue they mention their salary. The money paid for rescuing a life and putting their lives on the line. Never going to happen so maybe the Firefighter should say it!

    LAFD firefighters hurt in CNG explosion - several critical

    CNG, LNG, propane all dangerous. I remember being told to use the ‘rule of Thumb’ approach. Stick your hand out and raise your thumb if you can see it around your thumb your to close! Hope for speedy recovery and walk away lucky. This job can kill you in to many ways 🙁

    Chief I doubt the ‘City’ really gives Fire Safety a much of a factor, that’s why they have FDNY to handle the matter. Like Lithium Batteries it’s too political to consider. Anything that does not have gas powered transportation involved is good no matter the unintended consequences.
