I think Ladder 14 is the back-up for Ladder 25 to transport Collapse Rescue 1. Or it was at one point.
Can anyone tell me the back up transport unit for Collapse Rescue 2?
Does the responding as an engine in 1st 2nd 3rd due areas apply to technical rescue responses also? Or do they respond as a squad with their second piece and another engine is assigned?
Same province as me, very sad situation. FD consists of 5(I think) members staffing one engine 24/7 the rest is call back OT and mutual aid. Newer lightweight construction home. One of the deadliest fires in Alberta history. Very sad day.
