Earlier today, a third alarm was transmitted in Brooklyn at the same time as a second alarm was occurring in Manhattan. This leads me to ask about any redundancy protocols that are in place for city-wide type units when multiple multiple alarm incidents occur at once. I've done a bit of research...
Thanks for the info Skyler. In the case of the 47, how does that work, do you know? Was the 47 just a battalion that happened to be vacant to they put the surplus deputy in the BC spot? Or is the deputy riding surplus to the BC?
