    12/19/24 Queens All Hands 10-77 Box 4769

Overheard an exchange on this call which I found hard to understand. I know there are a lot of dispatchers and current and retired members on here who could perhaps provide their thoughts. The exchange went like this: QNS to D13, R4 is still in Manhattan returning so we've assigned R2. D13 to...

    12/16/24 Queens 2nd Alarm Box 1024

I know Google maps isn't perfect but interestingly at the moment it shows both R2 and R5 would be faster into Rockaway beach / Breezy point area than R4

    12/16/24 Queens 2nd Alarm Box 1024

Does Rescue 2 have any Queens boxes? If not, is there a good reason why not? Unless I'm missing something, looks like R2 is closer than R4 to basically all the Rockaways, no?

12/3/24 Manhattan High Angle Rescue Box 609

A little back and forth on this one... D1 transmitted the AH but Manhattan advised they didn't have sufficient units to give an AH (1&1). I think they ended up holding with E5/L7 and the special units.
