Incredible to see how fast that neighborhood is being taken over by Chinese. Seems like every third store on Hylan Blvd and New Dorp Lane has Chinese lettering on the facade. 10 years ago there were none.
"The Castle" is 1950 Andrews Avenue. A very large 7 wing Class 3 MD. The front doors of 6/7 wings are only accessible via an interior courtyard. It was vacant for many years. Reliable estimates say there were well over 100 significant fires there in the 70's and 80's.
It is impossible to "drop it down". That implies that you are/were using more than 1&1. Drop it down from what? A 2&2, a 1&2?
A stupid viral phrase that gets used unthinkingly.
"Is a 10-18 sufficient?" "can you release the other units?"
"10-18 for a 10-XX"
It’s worth noting that this is a double H-type building. Four “wings” ABCD, serviced by one main entrance. Which makes for very long hose stretches.
There is an identical building directly behind it on Barnes Avenue.
