W 37th St was built in 1860 by volunteer Valley Forge Engine 46. Engine 26 was disbanded between July 2, 1975 and July 19, 1975. Engine 26 was with Engine 34 during the renovation between July 21, 2001 and February 2, 2002. Earlier renovations happened in 1881 and 1894.

E324 did not open until 1940. E324-2 was proposed in 1938 to cover the World's Fair but did not happen. E331, E331-2, E332, E333, and BC55 were organized on the fair grounds from 1938 to 1941.

The High Ladders were at 324 during the 64-65 Worlds' Fair. L139 was suggested for that house someday.
