    12/16/24 Queens 2nd Alarm Box 1024

    12/16/24 Queens 2nd Alarm Box 1024

Does Rescue 2 have any Queens boxes? If not, is there a good reason why not? Unless I'm missing something, looks like R2 is closer than R4 to basically all the Rockaways, no?

12/3/24 Manhattan High Angle Rescue Box 609

A little back and forth on this one... D1 transmitted the AH but Manhattan advised they didn't have sufficient units to give an AH (1&1). I think they ended up holding with E5/L7 and the special units.

Can anybody explain why HR1 was assigned? Is a VSU a part of the assignment in transit, or was it some other reason?

    11/12/24 Bronx 3rd Alarm 10-86 Box 3231

I think that's right. On the rundown above, SQ61 is second due on the first alarm, so SQ41 would be responding in as the squad on the first alarm, then SQ288 as the HMTU on the 10-86 I think. Which is an interesting pick - according to the map I'm looking at, E274 would be much closer as a HMTU...
