    My observation is that the FDNY apparatus has gotten longer and heavier over the years. TL 22 comes to mind since they had a 95fter only to be swapped out for a 75fter due to limitations along Riverside Dr. Firehouses over the years have had their floors reinforced due to heavier. equipment...
