    Same thing down here for E.1/L.5. They had a hi rise project behind the firehouse and for fun the locals would shoot at the kitchen windows. The project was eventually torn down.

    Capt, this has been like that for as long as I remember. Once our fire communications hears that the entire box is in service then a D.C. is dispatched who then takes command of the fire ground and a lot of B.C.'s don't like that.

    Philadelphia fireman knows he has earned his pay after battling a 5-alarm warehouse fire at 3rd and Market Streets in 9-degree temperatures in 1980. Ice encrusted the firemen's helmet, clothing, and equipment. Sorry if the picture and text is so large,,I'm not very good with things like this.

    Found this,,the sound isn't very good because of how long ago it was. There was also other jobs including the 3 alarms that you might notice in the back ground.
