    2 engines and 2 ladders in service gets one SOC company. All companies in service gets two SOC companies, the nearest Squad plus the Rescue. Rescue 1 does have a large area in Center City where they go automatically on the box.

    I remember an extra alarm fire around around 7th Street and Roosevelt Boulevard. They used the Jet Axe and the fire quickly took a turn for the worse. PFD had several different size Jet Axe units and they were carried on the three Chemical units.

    Regarding Retired Lieutenant Louis Minchelli. Lou was a Firefighter in Engine 48 and Engine 50. A Lieutenant in Engine 69 and Engine 63. There was a 69 on his uniform hat badge. Is that his badge number or for his company.?
