The late 1920's proposal was for L13 with E21 which was going into a new station on 18th Ave in 1932. Instead L12 and E26 joined them.
L14 was proposed for E19.
In the 1960's, a ladder was again proposed at E19. This time it was L13, and again, it didn't happen.
Newark established Salvage Co 1 in 1951 when the Underwriters Protective Association was discontinued. The apparatus was listed as Engine 38.
