Responding units to a box are not operating at the box. The units could be at the scene awaiting orders & once a 10-18 is given it automatically makes all other units 10-8.

Wondering if 10-92 radio signal has been changed? I have heard a company officer & a chief officer give the following transmission: “10-18 for a 10-92 at box_”. Always thought a 10-92 gave “work” to the 1st Engine & Truck. Self explanatory. ????

Spoke to member & was told FT changed from 149 to 109. 250 there for lithium batteries. Whatever.

109 wound up FT, 149 remained in service. I guess Bn didn’t give All-Hands working, even though 2 lines were stretched. Extra engine & truck not assigned.

Because of Boro Park Hatzolla service, possibly.
