My understanding is the 2" hose is not an experiment but rather now standard issue as the lead length in the residential high rise hose pack configuration, per the engine operations manual.

    12/18/25 Bronx 5th Alarm Box 2326

How many times must it be explained that the super pumper is essentially a HAZMAT/foam resource and not a necessarily a "big fire" resource in the same way the previous version was? Fine to say it was a waste of money or whatever but do not act surprised that it hasn't been assigned to every 5th...

While taxpayers can be two-storey, I don't think it is correct if the implication is that they are most commonly two storey.

For your list of relocators, the 10 is acting somewhere. I think I heard 16 but don't see 16 assigned to this so I am not sure.

    Mount Vernon - 5th Alarm 11/23/25

Well, as far as I am concerned that is stupid. The people of Mount Vernon do not care about borders or policies - they want and deserve the best possible response when a box comes in - so in my view it is incumbent on the leadership of the MVFD and FDNY to generate interoperability to provide...

    Mount Vernon - 5th Alarm 11/23/25

By my mapping, E63/L39/BN15 are 13 minutes away from this box, meaning some large portion of that mutual aid assignment was much further away than the FDNY units. Wonder what the rationale was for not getting this requested or approved quickly.

    11/18/25 Staten Island 2nd Alarm Box 794

They don't relocate squads to rescues anymore, and in any event, SQ8's quarters is more centrally located to cover the Island. That said, I am not sure why they moved 288 instead of squad 1 as it seems squad 1 is the most common SOC relocation to the Island.
