Capt, if I can offer a contrary view: the Deputy Mayor, head of OEM, Fire Commissioner, and several staff chiefs were on scene, and the fire was all over the news and on social media. Who is being kept in the dark?

Crazy job. RIP to the deceased - glad to hear there weren't more and no firefighter fatalities. Also shoutout to Skyler, speaks to the great work you've done when the COD is calling you by name saying good morning!

Was 44 unavailable? Have to think they'd be way ahead of 274 as the HMTU.

11B is not one of the two in the video, but maybe 12B. I always thought the 12A/B/C cars were BCs but I could be wrong.

I wonder if there was a SOC relocation on this. Currently, policy seems to be to keep one RS/SQ in each borough, and if all are tied up, that triggers a relocation. 288 act 61 maybe?

Well said: additionally, it seems that a common trigger now for all hands is the responding chief requesting an extra one and one, at which point the dispatcher prompts the chief that they're going with the all hands.
