I dont know what youre reading, but the job cant tell you what training or certs you are allowed to have off the job. While riding a fire engine anyone trained above cfr is only allowed to practice up to the scope of cfr level.

You can, just not while working as a ff. Can only practice up to cfr level while working.

Hence the plan to try to change it.

Thats a long run for 62, the relief companies are all significantly closer.
