    FDNY loaner unit?

It's not done on a regular basis, and it is not a rarity but yes, da FDNY does loan rigs to other departments. It's also not the first time NRFD has gotten a loaner.

    Residential Requirements

I always thought it was crazy that you can live an hour and a half or more up in Orange County or live out by da lighthouse in Montauk which is easily 2 hours into Queens but ya can’t live over da GW in Fort Lee or work in SI an live in Perth Amboy which both are a stones throw away.

    DREAM FDNY SOC SUPPORT LAD.

I’ve saw on other sites pictures of other departments like LA where they used them for Rescue rigs and Haz May rigs. My guess is this type of rig has more compartment space and a top storage area. I also saw one that had a heavy duty like tow truck hoist mounted on top by where the turntable...

    VINTAGE FDNY RIG PHOTOS.

I remember that in da Bronx. Also, I went to Catholic Grammar School and when the nuns, still in those head-to-toe habits, heard the sirens or bells they would stop class and lead us in prayer.

    VINTAGE FDNY RIG PHOTOS.

This was after the slime green version, with Kermit on da front . They took the rig out and painted it this color and, as a junior member, I was handed a small can of red paint and a small brush by the Captain to touch up dings from when the butts hit it.

St. Simon Stock school on Valentine and 182 closed but Cardinal Hayes HS down da Concourse near da Court House and Yankee Stadium is still going. Some pictures I just saw recently shows that it is as clean and neat and the students are as neat as ever. Regis would be proud.

Kinda like da "Q" siren in da past. It wasn't allowed so before your rig went to da shops, ya had to take it off.

Which fire apparatus served Ladder 18 before Engine 15 became the new engine company?

The unit they are normally assigned to. They are staffed by ot members. It’s just like someone from E45 working in L58. They still wear their own gear.
