In the 1989-1991 time frame, the apparatus floor of Bergen St was redone. R2 went to E222 apparently. There were also renovations to the FH in the same time frame, with the rig in a cage. Were these two separate events? How long was the cage used? Willy, is there a date on your photo?

That's what I thought. Jersey barriers, wooden pedestrian ramps, chain link fencing, demolition, pouring, curing time - it adds up. Wonder where they (E5) went?

Just noticed that Engine 5 must have been relocated during June 2019 while their apron was re-poured. Where did they go and for how long?

No cages to be seen near 69's during that time on Google maps, unless it was exactly between photos.
