Bordering companies have the necessary adapters and fittings to use westchester hydrants. Have used a closer hydrant on border of Yonkers and was a drill that I did with the members to always have the possibility in case of bad city hydrant next one could be over border.

Tough block to get into as the precinct has closed access from broadway into 236 and all hydrants are blocked by vehicles, heavy congestion in that area due to parking for squad cars and on duty private vehicle. Looks like ESU 4 was blocked in by L37 ladder placement.

That’s correct depending on building location you can supply from other blocks, the complex is a looped system with one gravity tank and each building has a post indicator valve to isolate if repairs to system are needed. Again it been a while but I think there are 9 buildings inside the complex

Also another interesting assignment in that it’s E81 administrative building and one right turn out of quarters and up Bailey Ave and you are at front gate, the box used is a block away on south side of Fordham road and Sedgwick. Also in CIDS it did state that an engine company is to remain...
