After a fire in the Fieldston section of Riverdale, the water mains were grossly undersized, Satellite 2 was assigned on any 10-75 in the Riverdale section. The mains were replaced but the assignment hasn’t changed for 72 and satellite as far as I know. -

The theory is correct NYC will salt streets if a storm is possibly coming and if it doesn’t drop a lot of snow the salt is already on roads and washed into system.
