Makes sense. 79/37 would have been the all hands companies from their home quarters. With L51 OOS, they both were next up for this all hands even from their temporary relocations. Bad initial analysis on my part.

Doubtful that L37 was assigned here. L41 on the all hands, L38 s/c on the window bars after relocating to L39. And where was L51?

In 1971, L38 replaced L31 as the truck company with the most Workers in the borough of the Bronx. I believe they were #3 citywide.

On the truck side, L38 should see a big jump in their runs. They will now go 2d due into a large part of Bedford Park. Before L56 moved up from Monroe Avenue, L38 was second due all the way to Mosholu Parkway. I guess you could say 38 is just temporarily reclaiming their old territory.

Doubtful that L37 was the fourth due truck... Probably TO41 or L61.

True. L37 may have a couple of first due boxes in the Tracy Towers area or east side of the Reservoir but that's about it right now.

Notice again L37, now running from TO46's quarters, went in 2d due as if they were a second section of 46. Same as E79 running from E62.

79 is running out of 62's quarters because of the fire on Briggs Avenue. They will respond as if they were a second section of 62, unless the box was originally 79's first due assignment.

And prior to 1960 the Rescues responded on the 3rd alarm unless special called. I believe it's better the way it is now. Get 'em on the scene in case something goes wrong.
