    Yes. Not so much a problem with people listening. But a tremendous problem when anarchists with $75.00 Beofang radios are calling in 10-13s directly over the air and jamming transmissions. For the reason of officer safety alone - it was time to encrypt.

    Apparently the rescue battalion is in a new vehicle - it was at the third alarm in Queens last night. Same 4 door pickup cab but with a larger formed body almost like an ESU body. Any info on this - what extra stuff they are carrying.
