I have long had this thought... What genius in the 1930s woke up one morning and said, "I have a good idea. Let's have the city build all our residential housing."

    WWII SKID PUMP

First photo is a Seagrave 1929-30 hose wagon. How to tell?...no hose line outlet on passenger side of the rig, only a siamese to feed the deck pipe; also, the bell located directly behind the passenger seat, often connected by a rope to the back step. Firefighters in the jump seat went near deaf...

Nope. It's a five story fall and then you hit the ground. All depends on how you look at it... Including CIDS.

Great story 114. Reminds me of friends on the Bridgeport, CT, FD at the time. The BFD was on the same frequency as the Queen's CO. Late at night Bridgeport Engine 4 would be roused out to respond to a box in Queens until they figured it out.

    8/15/25 Bronx 2nd Alarm Box 2412

Just a request... It is helpful to see a line through relocators who have subsequently been assigned to the incident. Makes for an easier read. But the effort and thoroughness of the rundown is appreciated.

    8/6/25 Bronx 10-75 Box 3303

Long run from Lincoln Center to Webster Avenue for L35. And isn't 35 a TL... Isn't that an unusual relocation? More likely 35 to 58?
