1/04/09 Bronx 2nd alarm Box 4660

i would have had a full run down but just caught the 10-75 and then had to sign off just as the 2nd alarm was transmitted.
The initial attendance was 4 engines 2 trucks rescue and squad due to multiple calls.

They had 3 lines stretched and 2 in operation at one point, i know E82 was sent on, E94, E48, L31 was the fast, and the usual 2nd alarm units RAC etc thats all i have.

Given the box number (4660)  the first due ticket prob looks like this E90 E64 E96 TL41 L47 BC20 SQ61.    depending on the location. i know the box number is up by Hugh Grant Circle. or Metropolitan Oval. but i'm just going off memory.

Box 4660 is for Morris Park Ave at Van Buren St. Actual address was 1728 Van Buren. That is in Nan Nest section, further south east form Parkchester.lCard assignment would be...

90 45 88        41  58  38 FAST  ON 10-75 S61 R3 E64
46 82 48 97    47  27...

...depending on who was actually available at the time. S/C's and relocations after that.

L58 was unavailable, due to one of its members been hit by a car that didnt stop, this happened moments before E90 was notified of multiple calls to the box.

I wasnt going to mention anything about this until the dept did or it was official, a post has already been made about this however.

yeh i was listening when L58 requested EMS and PD due to a member been struck by a car.

For what i could make of the message before the 10-75 was given for 4660, a black vehicle hit the member, then fled the scene.

Just glad the member is OK.
