DC 7 just transmitted a 10-60 Code 1

10-60 Major emergency (Bldg collapse, train wreck, Etc.) 8 Engines, 5 Ladders (one being the FAST Unit), 6 Battalion Chiefs (3rd due chief is Safety Officer; 6th due chief is Resource Unit Leader), 2 Deputy Chiefs, 2 Rescue Companies, 2 Collapse Units, 2 SOC Support Trucks, SOC logistics van, Squad 1 with is Technical Response Vehicle, 1 additional Squad, Rescue Battalion, Haz-Mat Battalion, Safety Battalion, Field Communications Unit, Satellite Unit with its associated Engine, RAC Unit, and a Mobile Command Center). Also, a Battalion responds and meets NYPD Aviation to provide Air Recon.

I believe the truck is a cement mixer - fully loaded that would be approx. 80,000 lbs

10-60 Major Emergency Response
Major Emergency Incident with the potential for multiple casualties, e.g. collapse
of a private dwelling, derailment of a subway car. 
The total response will be:
5 - Engine Companies
3 - Ladder Companies
4 - Battalion Chiefs
3rd Due Battalion Chief is designated Safety Officer
4th Due Battalion Chief is designated Resources Unit Leader
1 - Deputy Chief
1 - FAST Unit
1 - Rescue Task Force (which includes 1 Rescue Co., 1 Collapse Rescue, 1 Squad
Co. w 2nd Piece, 1 SOC Support Ladder and 1 Rescue Paramedic Unit
1 - Rescue Battalion
1 - Safety Battalion
1 - Tactical Support Unit
1 - Communication Unit
1 - Field Communications Unit
1 - Recuperation and Care (RAC) Unit
1 - Public Information Officer
Note: Requests from the IC for additional resources above a 10-60 will require
the establishment of a Staging Area.  An additional Battalion Chief will be
assigned and designated as the Staging Area Manager.

Note: Technical Rescue defined as tunneling, trenching, shoring, cutting of 
load-bearing structural members, complicated disentanglement/extrication, etc. 
The total response will be:
10-60 assignment plus:

5th Due Battalion Chief is designated Staging Area Manager and a Staging Area
shall be established. (Unless SA already established on 10-60, then BC can be
designated Sector Supervisor, Street Coordination Manager, Strike Team
Leader, etc. (IC discretion)

Progress report at 11:30 hrs on Bronx frequency:

Mobile Command 2 reports Primary & Secondary search of the house and surrounding areas are complete and negative with the exception of the truck driver who is still pinned in the truck. They are awaiting the arrival of a heavy duty crane which is enroute from Queens with a police escort. The overhead power and telephone lines have been removed & NYC Dept of Parks is in the process of trimming trees to prepare for the arrival of the crane. This will continue to be an extended operation.

Progress report for: Bronx *75-3115* 1970 Cedar Ave. 10-60(Major Emergency) Truck into house with collapse and pin. This incident started last night. At this time (11:30am), Mobile Command 2 reports Primary & Secondary search of the house and surrounding areas are complete and negative with the exception of the truck driver who is still pinned in the truck.
