noticing from the pic of this fire caused me to remember years ago a good call by the bc with a similar fire on broadway near an el train station platform we operated a 2 1/2 handline from the standpipe on the platform into the top floor windows of an unstable vacant building.

BOX 343 used to be Broadway & Moore St ....after the Lindsay Park Houses were built it became Broadway opposite Walton St......343 / 9-11 .....NEVER FORGET ! ....NEVER FORGIVE !
