B-13 units have a good working relationship with the GWB Port Authority.  While the GWB and Transmanhattan Expressway are Port Authority jurisdiction, B-13 units often respond to both.  Radio communication is established between both entities.  That being said, Port Authority does not normally call for FDNY response - FDNY response is generated through 911.  However, there have been isolated occasions when FDNY response has been requested by PA.  All that being said, FDNY units were dispatched for this MVA/fatality.

Few years ago B17 responded on lower level. Aide made a U-turn to head back to the bronx and was pulled over and issued a ticket by PAPD.

"Turk", that is unbelieveable. I wonder if that PAPD Officer would arrest his mother too.

IIRC, the PAPD cop stopped them for either an illegal U Turn, or driving the wrong way down a one way street. The aide got a ticket for not having his license or something like that.
