On Thursday 10/14/10 a riot broke out in Mountjoy Jail, Irelands largest prison in Dublin. Four people were injured during the altercations 3 Prison Officers & 1 inmate.
Dublin Fire Brigade Paramedics and prison officers became embroiled in a bizarre stand-off during the violence of the riot.
Mountjoy prison officers refused to admit the paramedics from the Dublin Fire Brigade because they would not hand over their mobile phones.
