That should be an E 248 box: either 2nd or 3rd due on the box.
Excellent video.
R.1, Thanks for Excellent Vid. [w/Great Audio!], via NYRRT / D's !
25 (+) [?] Yrs. ago, i worked for Years @ 979 E.35 St x. 'I'/LIRR Cut, Chase Auto*,
just a half-block from that Fire.
I had friends who lived on that Block, [ i'm trying to remember who lived in the Fire Bldg.,
but...ahh.., Oh...?? ] :-\ ! I'm Quite Sure E.248 gets in there before 276, but, do we know if 248 was on another assignment @ Time of Alarm for 3046 ?
* Chase Auto was an NYPD Lic. 'Yellow Tow-Truck' Shop, Authorized to Monitor PD, FD, EMS, Radio's & Respond to MVA's, [ i was a Dispatcher & 'Shotgun Rider']. Naturally this led my attendance at literally Hundreds of Fires in BKLYN over a 10 Yr. Period. I missed 'The Cut' on 2 different FDNY Lists, but, a few of the guys made it to da' Job: Ira Thorner, Sandy Brown, Tommy Marino, Richie Murray*, ...probly 1 or 2 more ... staj.

* Richie's Dad was Ret. Btn. Chief [mebe 48 ? @ Time of Retirement...],
Died of Cardiac Arrest prompting Richie to Train in CPR/Emergency First Aid, Study EMT Course &
Eventual Appointment FDNY
